This article has almost nothing about his life but is mostly about his beef with Nas. Looks like it's up to me to take initiative again.

"Nobody should truly care about his feud with Nas. Cormega should be remembered for his consistency in delivering classic lyrics over well chosen beats. His first released LP, The Realness, is considered a street classic. American Beauty, a track in which he personifies hip-hop as a woman, overflows with creativity."

I am talking about him witnessing his mother's death at a very young age, moving to Texas (I believe), and returning to Queensbridge later.
