Moved from Scheme Links

http://www.schemers.org/ - A large collection of Scheme resources.

http://www.htdp.org - Online book How to Design Programs which purports to teach programming using Scheme. The authors seem to have some very clear ideas on how they think teaching programming should be done.

I copied the above links directly to the Scheme article. As it is Scheme Links simply isn't encyclopedic; nor is the page named correctly yet. You can have these types of links on your own user page, but in order to have them in an article they must be followed by at least a definition telling the reader what Scheme is and what this specific article is for. Otherwise, it just looks like what it is -- a list of links. If all you wanted was to list a few to several links, then just simply add them to Scheme like I did. If you really want to build a resource for finding info (not just listing links), then that is a great idea -- but the article just needs more and should be renamed. Cheers! maveric149

Thanks for the pointers! I also felt that a separate page for this was unnecessary, but didn't want to mess with the existing page-level structure, as a wikipedia newbie. user:Darius Bacon

So long as you have good intentions and try your best to understand things, you don't need to worry too much about messing things up around here. If you do something wrong somebody will eventually come along and fix it. That's the great thing about the History links from each article and the fact that everything shows up in RecentChanges. A far wiser man than me once said that "many eyes make bugs shallow". We have a policy here to Wikipedia:Be bold in updating pages, so now if you like, you can delete the text in the Scheme Links article, destroy the link to it in Scheme, and then place an entry in page titles that need to be deleted for Scheme Links -- this is the general procedure for this type of thing. Happy hacking! --maveric149
