Sounds thrilling. When I view those results in QGIS and set it to "point cluster", some duplicates immediately pop into view, but is there a more systematic approach? jleedev (talk) 14:10, 14 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
To answer my own question, this query appears to use "distance from north pole" as a proxy for clustering nearby locations together. jleedev (talk) 18:15, 15 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Hello jleedev, you got the point. You could also sort by name and check the possible duplicates but it's a very lenghty process as there would be 21.000 elements to check... Typically, if an element share name but X has a FAA code and Y not, then there is high chances of duplicates
And sometimes, it might appear that the airport/aérodrome no longer exists. Then I would put a dissolved, abolished or demolished date (P576) = unknown value [which helps tell it's a closed airport, and helps filter closed airports]--Bouzinac (talk) 04:51, 16 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
