Gustaf is the correct spelling. The one initially used derived from the spelling used in Encyclopaedia Britannica (1911). See "Svenskt biografiskt handlexikon" (1906) [1] -- Mic 21:29, Mar 30, 2004 (UTC)

Thanks for noticing, btw. The move to correct naming found a match in the list of Governors for Södermanland, and necessitated a disambiguation for the Governors of Östergötland. That in turn highlited the fact that Gustaf Horn inherited the title of Baron (Friherre), from his father. A comital title was not confered until 1695. -- Mic 21:53, Mar 30, 2004 (UTC)

I'm sorry. Isn't Gustav Bonde also famous for being the subject of a tragic experiment conducted by Jean-Baptiste Denys? He was receiving blood transfusions and died on the third one. There was huge debate over whether or not blood transfusion was ethical. It was later discovered that he was poisoned: arsenic poisoning. A possible culprit was his wife.
