Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints[edit]

In relation to your edits of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I thought you might like my opinion as an impartial obsetrver - your version is better, but it misses out what seem like key points from the older versionm. Why not try a half-way meet? HawkerTyphoon 22:53, 16 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"Seems fine. What parts are missing that are important? The only big chunks I cut out was the intro list (which was a train wreck, arbitrary, and every one of the items was covered elsewhere in the article), and "Enduring to the End", which was unneccesary: the point already comes across clearly that Mormons do not beleive salvation is a one-time experience. So maybe you mean some other portions? If so what, and let's put them back in if they're important. Novel-Technology 23:15, 16 April 2006 (UTC)"

Good question. I have no idea what - but why change it if it didn't need changing? I'm not saying your edit was bad, but someone thought so - I'll have a look through the article and see if I can offer a third opinion!

Woo hoo!

Barnstar[edit]

Nov, let me take the extreme, invigorating honor of dropping the first barnstar onto your talk page in recognition of the hard work you've been putting into LDS related articles. I'd have given you the Exceptional Newcomer award, but the image is of a butterfly, which are essentially moths with pretty wings. And you, friend, deserve more than a moth. You deserve a rusty star. Thanks for your work. Tijuana Brass¡Épa!-E@ 10:35, 24 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Work on Helaman[edit]

Thanks for your work on Helaman. There are a couple of style changes that I'll suggest after your editing slows down, but I'll do it on that talk page. Meanwhile, might I interest you in joining me on the Mormon collaboration that I recently created? Helaman is our current monthly project, but we will choose a new one on the 30th. You seem to be interested in this topic and are an avid editor, so I'd love to have you help out. Thanks again for your edits. uriah923(talk) 22:26, 24 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I just realized that you have already added your name to the list of participants there. In that case, welcome! uriah923(talk) 22:27, 24 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Spaces around headings[edit]

Hey - just wanted to mention there is no standard for spaces before and after the == in headings. In fact - if you notice when you press the + to create a new comment on a talk page - the system inserts the spaces before and after the == for you. Mostly people just leave them the same - I prefer the spaces since it makes reading the headings in the edit box easier in the edit box. Just wanted to mention that before you start changing them everywhere - from my experience it seems people just leave them however the person who started the article left them. BTW, thx for your contributions on CJCoLDS related topics

License tagging for Image:PlanofSalvationedit.png[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:PlanofSalvationedit.png. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 07:08, 2 May 2006 (UTC)

Mormon trail collaboration[edit]

You helped out a lot with the last Mormon Collaboration, so I wondered if you might want to get in on this month's pick: Mormon Trail. uriah923(talk) 16:38, 4 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Apology[edit]

Hey, just wanted to drop a line to make an apology. A few weeks back, you had made some significant revisions to the CoJCoLDS page, which I reverted without much comment other than it being "too much at once." I realized shortly thereafter that it was far too hasty for me to have just reverted your well thought out changes without discussion, but it hit home recently for me when, after spending an hour trying to work neutrality into Criticism of Mormonism, somebody reverted me with nothing more than a "I don't like it" comment. It's frustrating, and now I better understand how obnoxious it was for me to have done the same to you. So, I hope you'll accept my apology for having done so, and appreciation for your civility in talking things through. By the way, if you'd like to add your opinion and edits to the Criticism article, I'd value your input. Thanks. Tijuana Brass¡Épa!-E@ 22:39, 7 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Page Blanking[edit]

On 05-June, you blanked Zoramites. Blanking pages is generally considered a bad idea. I've reverted it to the previous version. If this was the result of a broken edit, you may wish to make the correct edits. If you believe the redirect should be deleted, please follow the redirect portion of the deletion procedures. If you believe an article should be written instead of the redirect, please write a stub. If you have questions, please let me know. Thanks! -- JLaTondre 22:48, 6 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
