Please change![edit]

the article mentions something that happened with the wootton cheerleaders, and i would like to have it removed because it is irrelevant to wootton's cheerleaders' reputation now and only succeeds in making them look horrible now. What matters is not the reputation of the cheerleading squad, but rather its impact on the school or community. Because the 2005 incident concerning the squad was pretty significant to both the school and community, it should be kept. However, if you can find information (with citations) about the squad winning awards/recognition, you can include that in the article, too. Yes, it's come a long way. I remember when I first found this article on 21 Feb 2005. Carrp marked it for cleanup four days later. I was very disappointed. Now, the article is much longer and better than before, thanks to the help of many good editors. Sports NPOV Dispute[edit]

The stories of the football and soccer team appear to be written to glorify the individual team, as if written by a member of that team. Because of the fact that "stud-muffin" was originally used as an adjective in the soccer section, it's safe to say that it's not being done from a neutral view point. Also, the soccer section points out the relative lack of "winning tradition" presented by the football team, a point that was stated in the previous paragraph, proclaiming the football as instilling a winning tradition to the school. Since no one has any comments or thoughts to add, it appears, I'm going to edit the sports sections to make them just state facts rather than tell stories. This will apply to the sports section and the Cross Country section, which will be combined into the sports section. I'm a Cross Country runner at the NCAA D3 level in college, and I see no reason why they need their own section in this article, so they should be combined into sports.--Metros232 15:37, 2 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
And to further prove the bias, there are many sports that were not mentioned in the original article that won MANY state titles, like volleyball in the 1980s. You can argue that current students might not remember that so it wasn't included by them, but what about girls' soccer that won a title in 1998 and made the finals the next 2 years after that? I was a starter on the 1996 Baseball team which won the 4A State title but we also were ranked #1 in the entire Metro Area AND were ranked #16 Nationally in USA today. I believe these should be mentioned in the blurb. And why is cross country, who hasn't won any titles recently as far as I can tell, being given a paragraph at the beginning, as if it was the most important sport at Wootton (which it wasn't)? Disambiguation question[edit]

I disambiguated Patriot to Patriot (American Revolution), but I'm not sure if it would more properly be disambiguated to Patriotism. Make a "Signiture Programs" section?[edit]

A few signiture programs (such as the Humanities and Arts Program and the STARS program are already listed, however there a some more (such as AOIT, etc.).
