Re: Half-smoke

First off, I would prefer it if you didn't throw out accusations. I never saw the post you made on the talk page. The previous dispute had very little to do with me, I just cleaned up the article after people were afraid that it was turning into an ad for Ben's Chili Bowl (only slightly applicable to the current issue.) The relevant policy is Wikipedia:Trivia sections, which says to avoid miscellaneous facts. Knowing that Obama didn't know what a half-smoke was is perhaps interesting inasmuch as he's not a Washington native, but it does not aid reader understanding on a half-smoke itself. The reason the trivia section is currently left as-is is because I don't have content to put there; there's tons of original research in the earlier sections I'm trying to weed out, and I actually have sources to cite development of the race (while I admit right now I'm at a loss as to where to find the sources that will make a good cultural impact section.) Per WP:TRIVIA, trivia is accepted in "works in progress" articles as it is assumed they will be eventually phased out; that's not a reason to add one however. If you're so intent on having the Obama mention, than you should really chop it down to one sentence which can be used to support that it's a DC thing, not give it its own section.
