Vanity from User:Eliasen? RickK 03:48, 13 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]

  • It does reek of vanity, but if the language is notable I think it wouldn't hurt to have Alan Eliasen a redirect to that article. The stub it is now should not be kept, in any case. (If it's true, as the edit summary states, that such articles exist for several language inventors, that could be something to look into.) -- Jao 10:09, 13 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
  • The article on language was created by User:Eliasen a few hours earlier. This strongly suggests vanity. Delete. Andris 17:41, May 13, 2004 (UTC)
  • Please feel free to delete. I surveyed the listings of many programming languages on Wikipedia for uniformity, and found almost all had links to the author, even when the description of the author was rather frivolous. (See List of programmers) That's why I stubbed it out. Feel free to remove or redirect. --Alan Eliasen
