Contradiction[edit]

Check the article on Paul Zaloom - he is not a scientist. So I'm fixing this lil' detail. Also, I've never seen him referred to as "Professor Beakman", but I'm not sure so I'll leave that there. - 200.195.79.170

Comic Strip[edit]

There was/is a color comic strip based on this published with many Sunday papers.

Fair use rationale for Image:Beakmanheader.gif[edit]

Image:Beakmanheader.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Episode list?[edit]

Anybody want to take on the task of coming up with a list of episodes/seasons in a separate article? I'll admit that I'm particularly curious to find the one where Beakman shows how underwater tunnels are built using an aquarium and a hamster tube. Noble-savage (talk) 22:49, 8 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Episode release dates[edit]

I found that most of the episode release dates here, are for the show when it was in syndication. But that the episode aired before that on TLC, usually 2-3 days earlier. Here are some of the dates that I could find using the LA-Times.com archive. Sadly I do not know when the show went on its winter hiatus, or when it returned. After these dates the site goes into subscribed/paywall mode, and the rest of the dates I couldn't verify, I only know that the show aired on Wednesdays on TLC before being shown later on the other channels, but it seems that each channel could pick which rerun episodes they wanted to air. On my MeTV through Cox Cable, the dates listed as "Original Release" for the first season seem to be the syndication dates and not the original TLC dates, so I did not update the articles listing.
