John Gabriel's Nth root algorithm[edit]

This is Newton's method applied to the equation $x^{n}=A$ , as explained in more detail on N-th root algorithm. Nevertheless, a certain John Gabriel claims the algorithm as his (see the talk page). After you delete this entry, go ahead and delete the "Diminishing Angle Paradox" - it was conveyed to Jason Wells by me. Jason added it to Wiki. I do not want it to appear on a trashy site like this where a few prima donnas who know nothing, decide what it's value is worth. John Gabriel

Delete. John Gabriel has some interesting ideas, but none of his stuff that I've seen yet is encyclopedic, including this. I think I should also warn that, from experience, his email correspondence style can be rather aggressive. Andrewa 02:34, 12 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]
