I don't understand you request because all the links seem to link to the same page. If the previous text on P-47 Thunderbolt has been merged into Republic P-47 the history does not have to be saved. If you wish to move Republic P-47 then you will have to put in a request for that move because P-47 Thunderbolt has more than one edit. Please can you give more details. I noticed that you had put in a request to move the article Republic P-47 → P-47 Thunderbolt. So please explain your thinking on this move (Thunderbolt → P-47), is it worth doing because it seems to me that P-47 should redirect to P-47 Thunderbolt and not be an old stand alone article Philip Baird Shearer 02:27, 12 May 2005 (UTC)

This article only needs to be moved if someones wants to keep the history of the old article revisions. If this history is not worth keeping then please delete it and move Republic P-47 to P-47 Thunderbolt. Thank you. --Denniss 03:20, 2005 May 12 (UTC)

I am miffed at you. I posted my initial question on the 8th you did not bother to answer me until I opposed your move. Once I oppose it you answered within an hour. Today is 5 days into the request and I do not want to hold up what seems to me to be a genuine attempt to improve Wikipedia. This article has been renamed as the result of a move request. Republic P-47 and P-47 Thunderbolt have been swapped, leaving the article at the latter and some history at the former. P-47 remains a redirect]]. violet/riga (t) 14:34, 14 May 2005 (UTC)
