Explain[edit]

Just to explain my intention here: I'm thinking of the casual user or newbie who is likely to enter just the family name of the person they are looking for. They will not know that there is a list of people somewhere either. As for those who are reading an article about, say, Richard III, king of England, I think they will manage to click on to the monarch page. --KF 20:02 23 Jun 2003 (UTC)

Merging[edit]

I don't see why "King" and "The King" need seperate entries. Nekura 23:37, 22 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I've merged them. It's silly to keep them apart, since they overlap considerably. - Richardcavell 03:26, 27 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

On that point, I would recommend distributing all the 'The King' definitions through the 'King' lists, since I don't see any difference between 'the king' and 'king'. If anyone else agrees, I'll do it. - Richardcavell 04:23, 27 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
