Why don't you use the official Usbek name of him? His name is Rustam Qosimjonov (see on http://www.uza.uz/uzb/news/?id1=3379 the official Site of national news agency of Uzbekistan). Best regards, Hanno Meissner

Because we have a policy on the English Wikipedia to use the most common form of a person's name used in English-language contexts (see Wikipedia:Naming conventions (common names) and Wikipedia:Naming conventions (use English)). Whether the policy is right or not is arguable, but there it is. That said, there should of course be a redirect from Rustam Qosimjonov--I'll make it now. --Camembert

there is a problem with the picture. Dorit 15:47, 24 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

It seems to have been deleted because it lacked information on its source. I'll remove the dead link from the article. --Camembert 16:23, 24 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you, the problem is, that lately I saw it in few articles. Don't you check before deletion? Dorit 09:22, 25 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]
I personally haven't deleted any images, but you're quite right of course that when people do delete them, they should also remove them from the articles they were in. Unfortunately, what people should do and what they do do are not always equivalent... --Camembert 11:12, 25 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]
True. Personally when I delete at the he.wiki I pay attention to all the relevant links. Anyway, Thank you. Dorit 15:54, 25 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]
The article must be renamed to Rustam Qosimjonov. He is Uzbek, not bloody Russian. Uzbeks are like Turks are using latin script, so why we write turkish and finnish names as they appear in native language, but Rustam's surname is left as Kasimdzhanov (thanks god, not Kasymdzhanoff :)). Just rename the name, please.--Abdullais4u 07:55, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Ht is an ethnic Tatar, not an Uzbek. There are alost a million of Volga Tatars living in Uzbekistan66.65.129.159 (talk) 17:21, 18 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Any sources? I'm reverting your edit, find reliable sources and make your claim. Abdullais4u (talk) 13:02, 19 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

He is full uzbek. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 188.123.230.165 (talk) 22:57, 12 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
