Owner(s)[edit]

I have temporarily removed these two passages from the article as these contradict one another.

  • Norfolk Tides Baseball Club (Managing Partner Ken Young)
  • Current owner of the Admirals is Jose Benitez, who also works with the City or Norfolk in the Office of Management and Budget and manages the day to day operations of the admirals in his spare time.

If anyone has a reliable source for team ownership, please post a link here. Thanks. Flibirigit 22:34, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Roster Edits[edit]

I've removed Karri Ramo from the roster as he has signed a two-year contract with Avangard Omsk of the KHL.

I've removed Jamie Heward from the roster as he was traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs on March 4, 2009 along with Olaf Kolzig, Andy Rogers and a 4th round pick for Richard Petiot.

I've removed Jay Rosehill from the roster as he currently plays with the Toronto Marlies.

I've removed Andy Rogers from the roster as he was traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs on March 4, 2009 along with Olaf Kolzig, Jamie Heward and a 4th round pick for Richard Petiot.

I've removed Brent Henley from the roster as he now plays with the Mississippi Sea Wolves

If anyone has any evidence to the contrary of these edits, please post them in a reply to this discussion. Thank you.

Mascots[edit]

I've added "rabbit" to the dog hybrid when speaking about hat trick. While I thought he was a dog for the longest time, I was told by a friend that he was in fact a rabbit. This is evident by the name "Hat Trick" as in "pulling a rabbit out of a hat." I left the hybrid dog because I felt like the costume is either purposely ambiguous, or I may be incorrect on my assumption that he is a rabbit. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.10.247.2 (talk) 20:47, 30 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Winning Streak[edit]

I edited some notes about the winning streak, particularly the surpassing of the pro hockey record set by IHL Peoria Rivermen in 1991. Winning streaks are not officially counted if they continue into the next season. I used to work for an American Hockey League team, so I know this for sure. For this reason, the Syracuse note has been removed for irrelevance. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.179.221.89 (talk) 01:14, 19 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
