First Tim Horton's Restaurant was in North Bay Ontario[edit]

CBC article, with actual photos of the first Tim Horton's in North Bay. "His first restaurant was not in Hamilton but in North Bay. It opened on Lakeshore Drive in the early '60's and it sold hamburgers not donuts." A few years later, he pivoted into selling doughnuts. When Tim Horton's introduced savoury food / lunch items in the 1990s, it was a "back to their roots" moment.

It is possibly correct to say that the Tim Horton's Hamilton location on Ottawa Street North, opened 1965, was the first to sell doughnuts -- I do not know if they sold doughnuts ever at the North Bay location -- but it is patently incorrect to say that it was the first Tim Horton's. I have removed the date and location of the first store. The cited source for this does not say when or where the first store was. I'll try to add the North Bay info later. GA-RT-22 (talk) 15:28, 17 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
