Assuming that it was the author who placed this article on the encyclopaedia, I don't think it is either appropriately titled or formatted. However, I can't think of any reason it shouldn't be here. Does anyone else have any views? Deb 18:38 5 Jun 2003 (UTC)


I first checked that the article was indeed by Bob Lane. I then asked him by email:

Did you submit the article, authorise submission, or release the article to public domain?

To which he replied:

Yes, I did release the article and you have my pemission to post it.

That's good enough for me. It should probably be listed on Wikipedia:Pages needing attention rather than VFD, now that the copyright status is clear.

This still seems dubious; I should be able to edit this, add my own insights, etc, right? But then it's no longer Bob Lane's essay that was published somewhere else... Stan 13:33, 5 Sep 2003 (UTC)
