  • I don't know if this is a real person or not, but the person who created this unwikified, messy page then made three votes on this VfD page, one to keep and two to delete. Looks like trolling to me. RickK 04:33, Oct 10, 2004 (UTC)
  • I'd say "experimental tri-linear linguistic manipulation techniques" constitutes patent nonsense. _R_ 12:16, 10 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • The language certainly hints at nonsense, as does the poor spelling. Google doesn't know anything about a Bob Valiant associated with mountains, mountain climbing, or mountaineering. There is a Bob Valiant who has written about linguistics, but his CV only claims three degrees [1] (two of them advanced), including none from MIT or "Trinity Coledge" (sic). Seems a nice enough guy, but not especially notable anyway. Delete. Securiger 13:03, 10 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete: Perhaps he's the tutor of Lara Croft or something? Seems like fictional superhero stuff. Geogre 17:23, 10 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. Non-notable and probably non-existant. Gamaliel 18:40, 10 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete, no evidence that he exists. I have a mild suspicion of anything involving User:Iamalegend, who appears to have been trolling assiduously of late (see Wikipedia:Votes_for_deletion/Thomas Hatcher, Wikipedia:Votes_for_deletion/Neville_Windsor, and, well, just about all the recent Hellyer / Burnie related silliness). Oh look, he's just sneaked Thomas Hatcher into the The Advocate article. Here we go again... Pnot 21:44, 10 Oct 2004 (UTC)
