To answer the question that somebody asked probably a while ago, Valorum was killed in a "terrorist explosion". It is highly insinuated in one of the Clone Wars comics that Palpatine was behind it. EVula 21:58, 13 October 2006 (UTC)

What does his name mean? It sounds Latin, and I definitely recognize the two words; unfortunately, not being very fluent, I can't accurately translate it. Does it mean something, or is it just impressive-sounding gibberish? 71.213.115.124 20:19, 1 October 2007 (UTC)

It serves them right. Who would elect General Zod as Chancellor? I mean, the guy is an escaped felon who was sentenced to life imprisonment. With all their fancy equipment and all those Jedi running around using "the Force", you would think that someone on Coruscant would do a background check on a guy running for public office. In a society that can achieve space travel with near lightspeed capabilites, a simple credit check shouldn't be a problem.

Oh well, you get what you pay for.
