This appears to be the same as can be found at http://english.camera.it/_presidents/schede/leone.asp. This is an official Italian government website, but I can't find their copyright policy. RickK 02:27 18 Jul 2003 (UTC)

Either can I, so I presume that means it's copyrighted, unless there's a blanket Italian government policy to put all publications in the public domain (which seems unlikely). --Delirium 02:33 18 Jul 2003 (UTC)

Corna

I haven't been able to find any photos of the "corna-behind-the-back" thing. According to the article, "This act was well documented, as all journalists and photographers were right behind him." This is false. If I'm not mistaken (and I don't think I am), indeed, he "made the corna", and there are photographs of his gesture – which, by the way, was a joke, and not vulgar or offensive at all! But he was the object of a hostile press campaign –, when some extreme leftists contested him (he must have heard, I suppose, some sort of kind invitation to die at once). Agreed with Tom Hope. That line is false, it was a joke and you can find the true picture here http://www.scudit.net/mdjellapolitica.htm As you can see, he doesn't hide his gesture. Also, the fact took place in Pisa, not Naples. The Pisan leftists attacked him, inviting him to die by cholera, and he replied in that way. Smiling. Orphaned references in Giovanni Leone[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Giovanni Leone's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
