Al-Haj Chaudhary Mohammed Yaqoob, BSc(Hons), FCA (Eng & Wales), FCA (Pak), Cert PFS

Born in village Khukha Jhelum Pakistan.

Member of Chaudhary family. Grandson of Chaudhary Ali Mohammed, son of Haji Chaudhary Mohammed Sarwar (who migrated to the UK in 1954 and was the first from kHUKHA to settle in the UK), and nephew of Al-haj Chaudhary Sub Mohammed Ashraf.

Mohammed Yaqoob came to England in 1964.

Lived in: Khukha (birth to 1964), London (1964-1965), Bolton (1965-1983), Khukha and Rawalpindi (1983-1986) and Bolton (1986-to date).

Deane Grammar school, Bolton (1970-1974); and

Lancaster University (1975-1978). First from Khukha to graduate in the UK and many many followed in his footsteps.

Student Chartered Accountant from 1978 to 1981.

First from Khukha to qualify as a Chartered Accountant and member of the Institutes of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and also Pakistan.

Specilisms: Auditing, investment business (especially pensions), quality assurance.

Lectured on audit quality assurance in the UK, Pakistan (Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi), France, Sri Lanka, Washington, Morocco.

Worked for the ICAEW for over 20 years and now Audit Director at an international accountancy network responsible for global audit quality. Has visited approximately 30 countries to date.
