I've heard from a japanese wikipedian that johnson island mentioned in the article should probably be "johnston" island. So I made the change accordingly. If anyone can confirm or correct that change, I would appreciate it (and bring back to ja. wiki). Tomos 04:46 25 Jul 2003 (UTC)

I think "Johnston" is almost certainly correct. I find a lot of Google hits for "Johnson" (including some gov and mil sites, who should know better), but I find this one [1] fairly definitive, coupled with the fact that I've never personally heard of any South Pacific island called "Johnson". - Hephaestos 04:55 25 Jul 2003 (UTC)
It is also called Johnston Atoll. Rmhermen 04:57 25 Jul 2003 (UTC)

Thanks for your inputs. I just told the japanese wikipedian writing most of the related content about your opinions. But then s/he quickly pointed out that on that military web page Hephaestos cited as "definitive", there are instances of both Johnson and Johnston. Tomos 04:03 28 Jul 2003 (UTC)

Hi, Peenemünde is a town, not an island, Peenemünde is situated on the island of Rügen, I made changes accordingly. I am also pretty sure that von Braun did not receive a B.S. degree, as those were not awarded in Germany at that time, he most probably got a "Diplom", which would compare rather to a Master's Degree. I don't know if his Diplom was awarded in Engineering or Physics though, so I won't change it before I can come up with the fact. He also didn't have a Ph.D. but the German title of Dr. rer. nat. from the University of Berlin. I haven't committed these changes as I guess the titles may confuse readers accustomed to angle-saxon academic titles, I would appreciate input on that point.

Wernher von Braun redirects to Wernher Von Braun, but the content says "von Braun", and isn't this the correct capitalization in any case? Thanks Dysprosia 11:27, 19 Oct 2003 (UTC)
