Sea of Ice[edit]

Although "Sea of Ice" is the English name, "Mer de Glace" is more common even in English publications (or at least in the ones that are in my personal library :-) ). Stan 05:15, 31 Oct 2003 (UTC)

More Ice today than in 1870[edit]

This glacier is gone today 9/10/22[edit]

The glacier has not gone, but it has significantly receded. We only change articles based upon Reliable Sources. In future, please cite links to them when you recommend alterations. Thank you. Nick Moyes (talk) 22:36, 11 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
