Six Flags edits[edit]

Brandon, tightened up the article. Question: In one paragraph you mention that the engines were converted to oil. In the next you mention that they were kept as steam. Which is it?

A fellow roller coaster fan[edit]

You should coordinate your work on roller coasters with User:Ridetheory. E is also a major contributor to amusement ride articles. I've just been doing some catagorizing in this area, and I noticed you both didn't seem to be working together. I thought I'd try to help this. JesseW 05:16, 15 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Thanks for that information, I'll contact him. BrandonR 18:29, Nov 15, 2004 (UTC)
Here I am. I don't contribute to Wikipedia as much as I used to when I was unemployed, so I don't know how much use I'll be. ridetheory

This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Log flume sfot.JPG. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{GFDL}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hello BrandonR, I just want to ask if this picture was taken by yourself, because I uploaded it to the Commons and they usually want to know the Author of a picture. Regards --80.137.32.182 19:13, 15 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Psychic Detective[edit]

I've been reading the discussion, and, from the way I see it, no need to give up. We do have to list supporting evidence, yes - but if Parapsychology had evidence, it would have a case to make. However, belief in and experience with parapsychology are not evidence. Clearly the minority view should be in there (if significant, as such parapsychology is), but it should be cast in just such a light. Solar is fond of quoting the rules, it seems: well, if he read NPOV: Pseudoscience he would know just this. Like I said; no need to give up. Rational opinion does, and will, prevail. fel64 23:17, 1 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Unspecified source for Image:Observationtower sfot.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Observationtower sfot.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 17:27, 12 April 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Vaya 17:27, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Is it ok if I upload this image to commons, and then you'll put a propper tag to it? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Vayaka (talkcontribs) 18:35, 12 April 2007 (UTC).[reply]
Sure just give me a link and I'll add the tag... BrandonR

Speedy deletion of Image:Antirollback.png[edit]

A tag has been placed on Image:Antirollback.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on [[ Talk:Image:Antirollback.png|the talk page]] explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
