No. of episode change[edit]

Due to recent contributions on the episode list article of DTE, the total no. of episodes of DTE is now 177. It turns out that there was an additional episode with the exact same plot. We need a new article called List of characters in the Dora the Explorer franchise that covers all the characters who appear in Dora the Explorer, Go Diego Go, Dora and Friends into the city!, Dora and the Lost city of gold, the upcoming Dora reboot, Dora video games and other Dora media. The article would be split into 4 sections: humans (Dora, Diego, Kate, Pablo etc.), animals (Boots, Benny, Isa, Tico, Swiper, Baby Jaguar etc.), objects (Dora's Map, Backpack, Stars, etc.) and miscellaneous (Grumpy Old Troll, etc.). 2A00:23C7:B6A5:ED01:A099:221B:BB07:77E7 (talk) 15:25, 31 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The article should be split into two articles, with the other being about the other media aspect of the show. It's confusing having both infoboxes of the show and the franchise and makes the article look clunky, especially on mobile. kpgamingz (rant me) 22:43, 23 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Support as this is a strange article, being an amalgamation of both the original series and the franchise. Looks like this article was for the TV series until January 2023. But instead of splitting out into a new franchise article, shouldn't we just split out a new article, Dora the Explorer (TV series), and reorganize this article as it is already devoted to the franchise?
