So Kernville was moved when the dam went in. I am guessing the Rustic Mountain Inn, built mainly to house motion picture industry people filming in the area, was razed before the dam was installed. Anybody know WHERE in the lake Kernville was at? --Ragemanchoo (talk) 08:40, 30 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Slow answer, but -- it's just a bit east of Wofford Heights. You can still see foundations and such when the lake is low, as it is now. As far as the Mountain Inn is concerned, it was moved up to new Kernville, and is now the River View Lodge. --jpgordon∇∆∇∆ 17:36, 6 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
    • Cool! Glad to hear its still around. It doesn't appear to have a wikipedia article, which is surprising.. --Ragemanchoo (talk) 02:49, 7 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
