Name[edit]

Isn't this city also known as Ujiyamada? WhisperToMe 07:59, 21 Mar 2004 (UTC)

Ujiyamada town founded Uji town(near Naiku) and Yamada town(near Geku) in 1889. Ujiyamada town was incorporated as a city in September 1, 1906. And Ujiyamada city was renamed Ise city in Jan. 1, 1955. So Ujiyamada station is in Ise city. There are some images of Ise in Wikimedia commons about “Ise Shrine”, and so on.
