Talk:Ammunition for infantry

Someone has created several of these "Ammunition for ..." and similar pages, from the 1911 Encyclopedia article on ammunition. (See the bottom of our ammunition page for links to some of them). All of them are of course quite obsolete. I think several of them could be salvaged with lots of work, but this one I'm not so sure of. Its sole use is as a historical reference, and for that the title is wrong, it needs to be surrounded by warnings, and some archaic terminology reworked. I suggest that some of this material might be paraphrased in a history section of a much improved ammunition or infantry article, and this page deleted? Securiger 16:11, 25 Feb 2004 (UTC)
