Recommended diet for pets[edit]

  • "Caring for Your Pet Chinchilla" (PDF). cvm.ncsu.edu. North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine. 2016.

I am unsure about the best source to cite, but I know there is a lot of weird dubious information in circulation. This source is from a major veterinary school and presents a list of fresh vegetables which are safe to feed pet chinchillas. Evaluation[edit]

The links to the sources work and they come from a variety of sources, from journals to pages about caring for chins. GinnyThePiggy (talk) 18:15, 24 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thank You so much! If I find another reliable resources to support the sentences that I added, would you still delete my sentences? Jiguguji (talk) 18:33, 1 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Jiguguji: (bit randomly placed, this - I assume it refers to the latest reversion?) I assume the sources you meant to add are actually suitable and valid, but you somehow managed to place the wrong URL links in the references. Can you paste the links here and we can check what's up with that? --Elmidae (talk · contribs) 19:00, 1 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Sure! I will copy and paste the link Jiguguji (talk) 19:17, 1 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Extinction?[edit]

"Their use for fur led to the extinction of one species": I can't find any evidence to support this statement. No third species is listed anywhere alongside C. chinchilla (= C. brevicaudata) and C. lanigera. Myopic Bookworm (talk) 10:55, 16 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Natural habitat and distribution[edit]

The map displaying the supposed distribution of wild chinchilla contradicts the text in the introduction. References relating to the natural geographic distribution are required. 69.143.146.97 (talk) 18:40, 23 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
