It seems to me that the layout of this page (pictures and "captions") is a bit messy, but I'm not sure how to fix it, I mean, which is which? Laz 11:10 20 Jun 2003 (UTC)

Why is Europe listed first? A comes before E, so it seems biased to me.

I don't think the format, just a list of countries where one or two have text, is helpful. Are we saying that all of these countries have crown jewels? If so we should say so at the top of the article, and reduce the ones for which there is no text; maybe a subsection for each country where there is something to say (other than just a link to the country article) and a bullet list of the rest where they have crown jewels. the continents have been moved alphabetically, i hope this solves the problem of "europe-first". indeed all these countries have crown jewels hidden somewhere. since this article is still evolving, the idea is that anyone can add in information if s/he finds some. For example someone just recently elaborated on "Iran", "Egypt", etc... but I think eventually at some future point we will have to break it up into continents, or something like that... we are currently trying to ease navigation with the help of the template at the bottom. Slang use of "Crown Jewels"[edit]

One major thing left out in this article is its second meaning. The Crown Jewels are also a refrence to your private parts.

Holy Roman Empire[edit]

The Imperial Regalia of the HRE was kept in Nuremberg, Germany (the largest successor of the HRE) and only taken to Austria to keep them away from Napoleon. This is worth more than "The Imperial Crown, Orb, Cross, and Holy Lance of the Holy Roman Empire are also highlights." under Austria.

Male Genitalia[edit]

Is sometimes referred to, euphemistically, as "Crown Jewels". I tried to add this but I was flagged as a "disruptive person", probably for using the word "penis", and not allowed to add this. 24.51.192.49 (talk) 06:16, 19 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Tahitian Crown[edit]

Hey y'all, I have been running through this page and citing sources to more obscure nations to help bring this article's quality up a bit and have ran into a snag with Tahiti. The museum that the crown is housed in doesn't have that great of a website, and I also don't speak French so I can't navigate it very well. I can't find anything on the website about a crown, but I did find a blog post from 2013 that shows the actual crown and states that it, at least at the time, was at the museum. However, Wikipedia is very wary (rightfully so) when it comes to personal blogs. Do you all have any objections to stating that this crown was, at least as of 2013, at the museum?
