From VfD:

Do we really need an individual entry for each NeoPet? I think it's non-notable. - Ta bu shi da yu 14:48, 3 Sep 2004 (UTC)

  • Is this a serious nomination? We've got an entry for every Pokemon character, why not every neopet? Keep. anthony (see warning) 16:02, 3 Sep 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete: Two wrongs don't make a right. There is a List of Neopets article now, and it is not being nominated for VfD. Each of these Neopet articles (and there are many more; check contributions by the IP who made this one) is Name = Neopet, X type of animal, liked by girls/boys. Since each is identical in structure, what we're looking at is material either derived from or appropriately held in a table. Column 1 = name of; Col 2 = creature type; Col 3 = notes. Easy, and then they all get in one place. Geogre 16:52, 3 Sep 2004 (UTC)
    • Sounds like you're arguing for a merge and redirect, not deletion. Incidently, there is no admin power necessary to accomplish this, and no need to list such an article on VFD. anthony (see warning) 18:49, 3 Sep 2004 (UTC)
    • Nope: I'm arguing for a delete. The contributor can make the table. A note has already been left on the user's talk page explaining the situation. As soon as the author or an author makes such a table, I wholeheartedly suggest a redirect for each, perhaps. This one, for example, is a name space trip over another entry. • You should read the deletion guidelines. We don't destroy information just because we're too lazy to move it. anthony (see warning) 02:12, 4 Sep 2004 (UTC)
  • Merge&redirect to a table, as soon as someone makes one. -FZ 17:44, 3 Sep 2004 (UTC)
  • Pseudoinformation - Delete or Merge&redirect to a table,as the above user said. The same with the other neopet articles created by this user (see [1]). Deus Ex 17:54, 3 Sep 2004 (UTC)
  • Geogre's got it. Merge and redirect. Great suggestion -- and I think we should apply it to other, similar situations. I'll help with the redirecting if this goes through. Jeeves 20:40, 3 Sep 2004 (UTC)
