I tried so hard to get the formatting right. If you can help me with it I would be very thankful. I know all the facts are right. I have studied Newfoundland history for must of my academic life.

But then why didn't you name that article "List of Prime Ministers of Newfoundland"? Without context noone will know that it is aboiut Newfoundland, and not about Togo. andy

I've moved this to List of Newfoundland Prime Ministers - deleting the premiers, since they already have their own page at List of Newfoundland and Labrador Premiers - and I'll be putting the meaningless redirect on Wikipedia:Votes for Deletion. I've also formatted the list. Now, hopefully, our original contributor will return to explain to us the significance of "COL," "Anti," "PP," and "UNP," and whether there were any prime ministers or premiers between 1934 and 1949. - Montréalais 16:54, 6 Oct 2003 (UTC)

The page is misnamed since first ministers prior to 1909 were premiers and only became Prime Ministers with dominion status. Looking at pages for other provinces where first ministers are included before and after confederation I think it would make more sense to merge this page and the List of Premiers of Newfoundland and Labrador - Formeruser-83 15:50, 11 Mar 2004 (UTC)
