Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Suncrest Washington

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This is pointless, no information and the user keeps reverting away from the stub message.--207.69.139.135 01:58, 2 Apr 2004 (UTC)

  • Keep. May be a stub, but it's still a real place. RickK | Talk 02:58, 2 Apr 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep - See page history. This appears to be an attempt by CoolDude to prevent others from editing an article he views as "his". -- Cyrius | Talk 04:44, Apr 2, 2004 (UTC)
    • You have got to read his comments in the edit history, ROFL! Mkweise 06:52, 2 Apr 2004 (UTC)
      • This needs to go on the "silly edit wars" page. Ashibaka
      • I especially liked "LEAVE THIS PAGE ALONE, I AM LOOSING MY PATIENTS!" -- ChrisO 09:57, 2 Apr 2004 (UTC)
        • This edit summary is duplicated in the VfD-Main page edit history as well :) - Fennec 20:12, 3 Apr 2004 (UTC)
        • That reminds me of what Dr. Frankenstein used to say -- "RUN AWAY, MY PATIENT IS LOOSE!" Har har har, Wile E. Heresiarch 23:17, 5 Apr 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep. It's a real place, as RickK points out. 207.69.139.135 appears to be a sock puppet for CoolDude, who seems to think that he owns the article. I think Cyrius is right - this looks like an attempt to ensure that if CoolDude can't edit the page as he likes, nobody else should be allowed to either. -- ChrisO 09:56, 2 Apr 2004 (UTC)
    • Delete. I've changed my vote, as this place appears to be just a trailer park - hardly significant enough for an article. -- ChrisO 18:04, 4 Apr 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep. Not ideal but no reason for deletion. Andrewa 13:19, 2 Apr 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep - it's a stub, but factual. Mark Richards 16:30, 2 Apr 2004 (UTC)
Re debate below - if it is a trailer park, then I would vote to delete... Mark Richards 20:13, 8 Apr 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete, it has no info hardley and CoolDude, is just going to keep removing the stub message, look at the talk page, he can get around bans though proxies.
    • Another CoolDude sock puppet... -- ChrisO 22:40, 2 Apr 2004 (UTC)
    • Most likley.
      • Yeah, right, you stick with that story, I don't beleive you.
        • Are you LOOSING YOUR PATIENTS yet? Ashibaka
          • I am not CoolDude, I just feel that there is no reason to keep the page, CoolDude will vandalise on --CoolDude 19:25, 3 Apr 2004 (UTC)
            • Really not cool dude, huh, you sig says diffrent.--207.69.139.146 19:27, 3 Apr 2004 (UTC)
            • Hahaha. You forgot to log out before you posted as a sock puppet. RADICALBENDER 19:28, 3 Apr 2004 (UTC)
              • No I am no Sock Puppet. If you even look at the histoy for what CoolDude thinks is his page, I have reverted an edit by him even.--207.69.139.145 19:34, 3 Apr 2004 (UTC)
                • Wasn't talking to you. I haven't a clue who you are... RADICALBENDER 19:37, 3 Apr 2004 (UTC)
                • Maybe it is CoolDude running one of those programs where it always connects you though another proxy.--Ryan524 19:44, 3 Apr 2004 (UTC)
                  • From Talk:Suncrest, Washington:
                    • ^I was requesting for it to be protected, all the edting was redicoulus, i have put it up on vfd, i don't wish for it to be anymore. As for the ban, I have almost unlimeted proxies i coud go though.
                    • You will be banning till the day u die then, their are so many anonimus proxies in the world.
                      • - Fennec 20:07, 3 Apr 2004 (UTC)
              • Watch Cooldude edit AND sign the message in question. - Fennec 20:03, 3 Apr 2004 (UTC)
                • Taht's funny but I bet the admins won't give up banning.
                • Bwahahaha! This is getting funnier by the hour... :-P -- ChrisO 23:08, 3 Apr 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep. Req ban for CoolDude and all his puppets.. Ashibaka 19:12, 3 Apr 2004 (UTC)
    • Delete, trailer park :( I wrote up an entry on BJAOD already, so don't worry about that. Ashibaka 22:34, 5 Apr 2004 (UTC)
  • Agree with Ashibaka. Meelar 19:30, 3 Apr 2004 (UTC)
  • I agree too, ban CoolDude and all pupets.--Ryan524 19:39, 3 Apr 2004 (UTC) ...and keep the article too.
To an admin: It would seem all but CoolDude and his Sock Puppets agree to keep this page, if you ask me this disscussion should be terminated and the page kept.--Ryan524 20:38, 3 Apr 2004 (UTC)
  • And now for something completely different --- how about if we Rot-13 the whole article? - ;Bear 04:52, 2004 Apr 4 (UTC)
    • "Fhaperfg, Jnfuvatgba vf ybpngrq whfg bhgfvqr bs Fcbxnar, Jnfuvatgba. Fhaperfg vf ybpngrq va Fgriraf Pbhagl naq vf ubzr gb gur Avar Zvyr Snyyf Fpubby Qvfgevpg." - hmm, makes more sense than any of CoolDude's versions so far! ;-) -- ChrisO 22:48, 5 Apr 2004 (UTC)
  • DELETE. maps.yahoo.com, mapblast, and mapquest have never heard of a Suncrest, WA. It seems to be a mobile home park in Nine Mile Falls. PS I support the bans. Niteowlneils 06:11, 4 Apr 2004 (UTC)
    • Hmm - you may be right. I've checked it on the Getty Thesaurus of Geographic Names [1], which finds 12 Suncrests in the US but none in Washington. Is a trailer park really sufficiently important to have an encyclopedic article? -- ChrisO 09:32, 4 Apr 2004 (UTC)
    • Aww, man. Delete trailer park article, move history to BJAODN. -- Cyrius|&#9998 17:21, Apr 4, 2004 (UTC)
    • Besides ads for broadband Internet Google shows issuance of a gas certificate to Washington Power [2]. - Hephaestos|§ 17:26, 4 Apr 2004 (UTC)
  • Actually it exists but its not a trailer, check the school district page. there is a link to it on the page.
    • The school district's page describes Suncrest as a "housing area" and explicitly says that "There are no incorporated towns within the District". [3] No vote, but given that description, I do not know what could ever turn this from a sub-stub to an article. Rossami 21:46, 5 Apr 2004 (UTC)
    • Check the talk page I found proof that its more than some tralor park, it's not incorperated but its more than you would guess, I say KEEP!--Ryan524 08:37, 9 Apr 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete the article and ban CoolDude. Wile E. Heresiarch 23:14, 5 Apr 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep. There is no reason to delete this. Kingturtle 07:12, 12 Apr 2004 (UTC)
