Untitled[edit]

I took out the external link because I think some of the information on it is kind of iffy; none of my other sources show him being born in Cuba, for example. - Hephaestos 09:07, 26 Sep 2003 (UTC)

Trading post society[edit]

I came across an interesting article by Bieder about how the aftermath of the War of 1812 affected life at the posts, which applied to some of Lisa's world, and added elements to this article, plus cite.--Parkwells (talk) 13:55, 17 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Rewrite[edit]

I watched this page for a while, no major editing has been done since User:Parkwells in late 2008. I rewrote it in my user space, added sourced statements from a few substantial works on the fur trade, and reused the sources that were already in the article. Next step is cleaning up the different Fort Lisa articles that this page references. poroubalous (talk) 21:14, 24 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
