Muslim percentages in Bosnia and Herzegovina[edit]

Percentages of Muslims in Bosnia is way of and has no citation. This article said 77.9% while www cia gov says some 51% in 2013. [1] Even Wiki article about religion in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2020 says much smaller pctg (46,5%).

Generalisation to be avoided - Let's be more accurate[edit]

Half the truth is worse than a lie.

To be fair to the man kind and reduce the risk of manipulation of the vulnerable minds, especially children who come across this page - A more true picture about religions should be demonstrated.

I would suggest:

1- Writing up the number of subdivisions in each of these religions. Bear in mind that some of these subdivisions are each other's worse enemies. So how could you just lump them up to come of with billions of people listed under just one religion name?

2- Listing the income distribution in between each and all the above categories.

3- Listing the educational levels and distribution in between these religions.

4- Reporting the rate of growth for these religions.

5- Reporting the growth rate in the population for each of these religions.

6- Reporting the true practising population of these religions. Good luck with this!

How do you use the census data from some of the most violent countries, which their population is not free to make any decision for their lives? I consider this page from Wikipedia to be vastly in violation of human right for accepting the lies!

To be safe of doing all the above I would suggest wiping out this page and writing the truth, that us, human beings, are not mature enough to make up our minds, and end the story.

Any objections?

Good luck! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mmabood (talkcontribs) 21 November 2014‎

New Zealand[edit]

New Zealand population is now 48 https://culturalatlas.sbs.com.au/new-zealand-culture/new-zealand-culture-religion# 2404:4402:1329:1800:CD94:30AC:129A:CDE7 (talk) 11:24, 18 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Tally of Counts[edit]

The list entries do not tally to the total nor are the percentage consistent with the counts.

Judaism Percentage[edit]

Edit request for the percentage of the world population that follows Judaism. Listed in the table is 0.2% when it should be 0.19%. I suppose it could be a rounded figure, but the row directly above lists Spiritism as having 15 million followers equalling 0.19%. Obviously it makes no sense for Judaism to have fewer followers at 14.7 million, but constitute a higher percent of the world's population at 0.2%. Either both figures should be rounded to the nearest tenth of a percent or both should be rounded to the nearest hundredth of a percent. Someone please change this. Thank you. 66.91.36.8 (talk) 21:29, 26 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

First table[edit]

The percentages in the first table add up to more than 100% 205.236.4.254 (talk) 14:36, 31 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

A significant portion of the population worldwide do practice more than one religion. Barazoku ranka (talk) 10:21, 15 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Shintō Count is wildly incorrect[edit]

The article lists Shintō followers as approximately 4 million... even the Japanese Wikipedia page for Shintō lists it as approximately 87.9 million (self reported). Barazoku ranka (talk) 23:50, 14 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The Shinto number seems extremely low[edit]

Most sources I've found say there are over 100 million: https://unshintoismreligionuk.weebly.com/number-of-shinto-people.html https://www.worlddata.info/religions/shinto.php https://www.state.gov/reports/2020-report-on-international-religious-freedom/japan/ Justinpark01 (talk) 05:42, 30 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
