didn't someone have on here months ago that it was "generally considered to be Skinny Puppy's worst album"? it wasn't their best, but I mean come on...I was going to cite that if it was still up here Filter1987 02:44, 30 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"Spahn Dirge"[edit]

I seem to recall that this works in material from one of the Lard tracks (Jello Biafra and various people from the RevCo "tribe").  — SMcCandlish ¢ >ʌⱷ҅ʌ<  11:39, 27 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

It came to me: A substantial amount of "Spahn Dirge" is a loose cover of Lard's "Time to Melt" (including those lyrics, "time to melt"), from The Power of Lard (also 1989, though both bands seem to have been playing this live for a while as a jam-session kind of thing; it has a lot of psychedelic and early heavy metal influences, a bit of a pastiche, really).  — SMcCandlish ¢ >ʌⱷ҅ʌ<  11:46, 27 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
