About the "Dum de-de-dum-dum, dum dum dum, dum de-de dum dum, dum dum dum" in the article - would someone please do this up on a musical staff and post the image? That would make it easier to recognize. - Brian Kendig 14:35, 15 Dec 2004 (UTC)

FWIW, that is how Monty Norman describes it on his website - [1]. -- ALoan (Talk) 15:43, 15 Dec 2004 (UTC)
It doesn't matter; It doesn't help the uninitiated and distracts from the article. --Alexwcovington 01:16, 16 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Musical musical??[edit]

I've appended a clarify template to the last sentence of the "Biography" section, which makes the claim:

"As of 2004, Norman is working on an autobiography, to be entitled A Walking Stick Full of Bagels, and musical versions of the 1954 Kingsley Amis novel, Lucky Jim, and his 1970s musical, Quick Quick Slow."

As written, it is stating in no uncertain terms that he "is working on... [a] musical version... of... his 1970s musical." This does not make sense. Can someone with knowledge of Norman's current activities please clarify this statement? If Quick Quick Slow is already a musical, how can he possibly be working on a "musical version" of it? The statement requires clearer phrasing or more careful word choices. 71.200.89.119 (talk) 13:55, 31 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

James Bond Theme section[edit]

I separated all of Norman's involvement with the James Bond theme to its own section, since that is what Norman is primarily known for. Primogen (talk) 16:16, 1 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Norman appeared on the Series 40: 6. Entertainment Special of Antiques Roadshow on 31 December 2017, with his original handwritten manuscript for the Bond theme: [2] Martinevans123 (talk) 20:44, 31 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
