Premiere of a TV show in the US is notable?[edit]

Someone has made an entry regarding the premiere of a TV show in the US (in the "fiction" section). I don't think that this is notable and I propose to delete this entry. I welcome your thoughts. Thanks, Hu Gadarn 15:25, 1 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I would delete it. Seems like an end run around the non-notable event deletion. It is not fictional, it's a real event, just not very noteworthy. -- Borameer 15:37, 1 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

TV game/reality show finalists are notable?[edit]

Someone has added "Sanjaya Malakar, American Idol finalist". I propose that finalists in TV shows are not noteable and hat they be deleted. Any thoughts on this? Thanks, Hu Gadarn 04:55, 13 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

But you know, he is an especially notable one, we should most definitely keep it. Addieshae 02:20, 6 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

1987 - At his residence in Afghanistan, Osama bin Laden launches al Qaeda[edit]

I can't find any other reference to this supposed founding date, amongst others, not in the article about al Qaeda. From looking trough google results, I must conclude that the best that's known is that Al Qaeda was bounded somewhere 1987-1988ish, googling for this exact date doesn't yield any result relating to Al Qaeda. --Jeroen@wolffelaar.nl 145.97.220.22 01:06, 10 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Free Hug Day[edit]

Can we add Free Hugs Day to Holidays?... Pleeeaaaasssee?71.176.186.167 (talk) 20:09, 10 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No, because it is not a holiday in any country. WP addict 0 (talk) 23:35, 10 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Rin Tin Tin under Births[edit]

It is my understanding that there is a consensus that entries for animals under Births and Deaths are not "allowed". Is this understanding correct? 206.223.168.206 (talk) 04:13, 10 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

"Great Martyrs of Nagasaki"?[edit]

This is not in the article on Martyrs of Japan. Why is it here?--Richardson mcphillips (talk) 17:59, 10 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

word "Great" should be removed. righto — Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.163.195.225 (talk) 14:02, 10 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
