Untitled[edit]

I'm querying the succession box in this article. It shows Michael Hayes as FitzGerald's predecessor as Minister for External Affairs, though the article says FitzGerald was the first Minister for External Affairs, and Hayes' article says he was Minister for Education. “Expelled from Kerry” and “Donnybrook set”[edit]

How did he get, as the article currently claims, “expelled from Kerry”? Also, on the Kevin O’Higgins page it says, citing Garret Fitzgerald’s book, that O’Higgins and Fitzgerald were part of the “Donnybrook set”: “O'Higgins himself was not avowedly republican. In the Government of the 3rd Dáil he would be classed, along with Desmond FitzGerald, as one of the “Donnybrook set" - out of step with the rest on issues such as Irish language, autarky and militarism.[6]” What’s the origin of this and did his views change regarding Irish as this article implies he was drawn into the national movement via a love for Irish. 2A02:8084:6A22:4980:6127:134F:1FAC:B791 (talk) 09:17, 18 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
