There's no way to find an "unbiased" source when it comes to Joseph Smith. Many sources have discussed the role of Martin Harris' wife in the translation, and the quote I included has been referenced in many biographies, all of which Smith supporters will say are biased. The point is, it's a well-known quote and should be included in the discussion of what happened to the first translation, rather than jusy saying they were lost without any explanation.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Marknyc (talk • contribs) 07:24, 1 November 2014‎

It's not an unbiased source I'm looking for; it's a secondary source. If it's a well known quotation and included in many biographies, then quote a biography not the primary source.--John Foxe (talk) 02:47, 8 November 2014 (UTC)

You're placing a high burden of proof on this. You know full well that the story of Harris' wife has been mentioned many times. In fact, my addition simply says "Some sources state..." and I provided one of them. Why do I have to provide multiple sources for such an oft-mentioned story? Seems like you are trying to censor it for some reason.
