Untitled[edit]

The lost vote on the euro was not seen so much as a blow to his credibility, as the changes made to the early-retirement scheme. During the election a handout was distributed to a large proportion of voters, issuing a guarantee with his signature, that the retirement scheme would be left untouched.

--None the less, it was my impression that the lost Euro campaign was seen as a blow to his authority, certainly within his own party. The early-retirement affair may have been far more serious, but that doesn't mean the Euro affair was irrelevant. So, if you want to put in information about the early retirement, I encourage you to do so, the article is fairly incomplete right now. Peregrine981 17:42, 23 Nov 2003 (UTC)

The infobox on the right says he's cand.polit. This hardly belongs on english wikipedia, as cand. titles doesn't mean anything outside Denmark (or perhaps Scandinavia). I suggest it's removed.--Nwinther (talk) 16:59, 27 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
