Hello and welcome to Wikipedia! Hope you like it here, and stick around.

Here are some tips to help you get started:

Good luck!

P.S. One last helpful hint. To sign your posts like I did above (on talk pages, for example) use the '~' symbol. To insert just your name, type ~~~ (3 tildes), or, to insert your name and timestamp, use ~~~~ (4 tildes).

More welcome[edit]

Welcome from me too. And one suggestion. According to the Wikipedia:Manual of Style one should write

== Geometric multiplicity ==

instead of

== Geometric Multiplicity ==

This is a minor thing, but it is worth keeping up with the overall style of Wikipedia. Enjoy! Oleg Alexandrov 14:39, 10 Apr 2005 (UTC)

PS Sorry I can't answer your question at Talk:Eigenvalue. Oleg Alexandrov 14:39, 10 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Thanks, I'll try to get used to it :) Spikeballs 15:33, Apr 10, 2005 (UTC)
I answered your question at Talk:Eigenvalue: You are absolutely right. I must have read that section a couple of times and yet I didn't notice it :( Thanks for pointing this out. -- Jitse Niesen 12:43, 11 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
