vampire bloodlines trivia.[edit]

No, its not advertisement. I noticed someone added the same thing into the planescape: torment trivia. In fact, thats the reason i came, i am the admin of clandlan and noticed hits from wikipedia to my site, and as we just released vamp: bloodlines trans (o the 25th) i thought i could very well add the translation part in the trivia, just like it appears in the torment page. Btw, I also modified the previous trivia entry too :)

And also, Just zis Guy, you know?, told me a moment ago i could add it... --Immortality 15:34, 28 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Okay thank you, I just wanted to check that (or rather, draw attention to it). I'd prefer to delete the word "professional" though, as long as we don't have neutral people who agree to it. Just a NPOV thing. I personally must say it's cool that there are people like you out there, I always admire such work. Helped me enjoy quite a bunch of Japanese games ;-) - Genesis 15:41, 28 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Oh well, you sure are fast. So much for NPOV ^^ - Genesis 15:45, 28 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, exactly.. you know, ive re-read it after you mentioned that and i thought that it may kinda look as advertisement indeed! :s so i fixed it, and i think its okay now... and many thanks for drawing attention to it, im new (from today) here and im still stumbling and dont quite know the rules yet :)

Archiving Messages[edit]

You might wish to keep a copy of old messages, such as the first welcome you received, so people don't keep welcoming you! Most people use a subpage to archive old messages. :) --AySz88^-^ 16:37, 28 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Ah well, usually I don't use my usertalk page (as you can see) - Genesis 16:56, 28 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

WP:RPG project kudos[edit]

Thank you for so much work for this project in a few short days. It's appreciated. GRuban 03:44, 23 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

InSpectres cover[edit]

You edited the infobox on the InSpectres article, and removed some of the cover caption text. I think it's relevant to be as precise as possible and write what edition the cover is from, since I know that the 2nd edition printed version looks completely different. We don't want to annoy people who have a different version by claiming that the current picture is the cover. Do you mind if I put "1st edition PDF" back in the caption? Jonas Karlsson 09:41, 10 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You're right of course, we should be precise. I wasn't aware that there where different editions, my search just resulted in one. So I thought it to be the only edition in existence. Of course we have to re-add the text, as this is untrue.
Does the printed version of the frst edition have another cover than the PDF version? If not, I'd exclude the "PDF".
Anyway, I'll reinclude it, thanks for the info, Jonas. -- Genesis 11:11, 10 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Sure, no problem. I could've been bold, but sometimes it's better to ask for clarification first. I don't know what the printed 1st edition looks like, I've only seen the PDF. If someone finds out they're the same we should definitely remove the "PDF" caption. I think it's great that you're working on the RPG articles, by the way, so keep up the good work. Wikipedia RPG group[edit]

I'd be glad to help expand/add some RPG pages, though not with any regularity.

Of course, now I'll never escape the internet. >_< -- comment by SeekerVI

Great! One more victim to Wikipedianism ;-) -- Genesis 22:10, 17 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Move of Psionics (role-playing games)[edit]

I made a bit of a mistake. I posted a request that was meant for you to someone else's page:

Please, join me at Talk:Psionics (role-playing game) and help me to understand this page move. -Harmil 21:54, 23 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

However, the person whose talk page I left that on, did in fact move the page back, and left a rationale similar to my own on the article's talk page. Could you please comment on your intentions and let us know why you felt that the name needed to be singular. Neither of us are trying to push a particular goal here, but the article is actually referring to role-playing games in the plural -Harmil 22:24, 23 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I already noticed and was formulating an answer. The trouble is just that I'm not sure how to explain what I want to say. Basically I changed it according to long term goal #3: Consistent naming: rename all Foo (RPG) and Foo (Role-playing game) pages to Foo (role-playing game) -- Genesis 22:46, 23 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I understand where you're coming from. If I can be so bold, I think that what you're concerned about is this: there should be a way to know what the title should be, and "everything is singular" was one way to get there. I don't think that Psionics (role-playing games) should be an exception at all, which is why I went ahead and proposed the guideline for everyone to hash over, based on the more general Wikipedia guidelines (I'd never seen the plural page titles page until I went looking for info today).
Thanks for following up, and feel free to drop me a line if you ever want to hash over that kind of thing. -Harmil 02:36, 24 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
