Help:Curly braces vs. Templates[edit]

I browesd that page looking for what I needed. I didn't find it. Please cut and pasted the text I need somewhere where I can find it, like my user talk page. That will save me hours of my time. I'm not doing this for fun. -- Uncle Ed (talk) 19:13, May 28, 2005 (UTC)

Sorry, I thought I was helping by pointing you to the canonical source for WP Templates, of which I thought you were, perhaps, unaware. You are, of course, free to create your own list of favorite templates. - Rlw 19:56, May 28, 2005 (UTC)

Oh, I'm unaware of much, MUCH more than that! I was trying to create the following:

This {{SITENAME}} article was copied from the
 [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/{{PAGENAMEE}} {{PAGENAME}}]
 article at [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page
Wikipedia.] All credit goes to the WikiMedia
Foundation and its heroic team of volunteer contributors
for producing the orginal text

...because I'm the liaison for another project which is incorporating Wikipedia text. And I'm determined that our project is NOT going to get listed at "mirrors and forks" for non-compliance.

Thanks again for cluing me in. Now that I've got PAGENAMEE I'm all set :-) -- Uncle Ed (talk) 21:34, May 30, 2005 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
