First a general question. I am new to Wikipedia, but think I can see room for improvement in the existing gtr articles. Is there some custom about putting up comments before making major changes? Or do you guys just plunge in?

Some specific questions concerning this particular article: I see that a number of Wikipedians have modified this article, but can anyone explain its purpose? This strikes me as a minor comment which doesn't really stand on its own. Perhaps it should be incorporated into the existing article The Einstein Field Equation? What about a new article on Physical Interpretations of the Riemann Tensor? Why don't comments concerning the physical interpretation of the EFE cite something like John Baez's on-line article 'The Maning of the EFE? Would these suggestions improvements be welcome? Is it possible to have too many citations in a Wikipedia article? Is anyone reading this?

Redirected[edit]

I turned this into a redirect to the GR article because it exchanges one misconception for another. This is dealt with in the GR aticle. Hence the redirect. --EMS | Talk 03:58, 21 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]
