Creating Articles w/ Categories

Good work creating new articles. When you create things, it helps tremendously to assign them to an accurate category (see WP:CG for info). If you're really not sure about categories, at least assign your new articles a stub category (see WP:SC for info). By assigning a category, you help make sure your new articles don't get lost as 'orphans' that are not associated with related topics. Feco

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Kill the disco.png)

Thanks for uploading Image:Kill the disco.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Article deleted while I type

If I am supposed to put up with having my articles literally deleted while I type, I don't think I want to contribute anymore. What about giving hte article at least an hour, to see if more material is coming?Abu ari (talk) 15:02, 14 January 2008 (UTC)

Adding references too early?

Color filter array question

Why are all the color filers made of RGB sensors shaped like perfect squares? The color artifacts would be reduced if each of the three sensors were shaped like a rectangle, the length of the rectangle being 3 times greater than its width. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.24.29.213 (talk) 08:05, 13 March 2009 (UTC)
