Interests: Linux, Mac OS, Perl, PHP, computer games (Freeciv, Total Annihilation). Non-computer interests: history, languages and cultures of the world, gardening, do-it-yourself type repairs, moderate amounts of physics, space/astronomy.

I speak primarily English, and am also comfortable conversing in and reading German. I have also picked up varying amounts of Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, French, Dutch, Japanese, and Tagalog.
