It would be great if this page could include some more code, and some links to newsgroups or web pages dedicated to the HP-32S.

This page was rightfully marked for cleanup. I separated the HP32S and HP32SII sections and fixed the photo so it did not run into the source code. Please mark here if you would like more changes. Timothy Chen Allen 01:35, 2004 Nov 10 (UTC)

I'm wondering if there were different versions of the HP32SII. In all versions I found on the Internet they say, it uses 3 SR44/LR44 (1.5V) batteries. But my model uses three 3v batteries and will not work with the SR44/LR44. 83.77.123.232 (talk) 09:37, 11 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

15C -- Nope[edit]

The 32S was not a replacement for the 15C. That's absurd. The 32S was was a direct replacement for the cheaper HP-11C. The HP-42S was the one which was more like the 15C.

There were three main sellers prior to the 32S in the low end... the 11C, 12C (Still being sold), and the 15C. The major replacements (for RPN) were the 32S, the 17B, and the 42S. Those were the mass market calculators for HP. The 20S was entry level in addition to those 3, but not an outstanding calculator for either sales or performance. The 27S was their hybrid. Of those 5, the 42S was most like the 15C. I like to saw logs! (talk) 08:04, 28 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
