Photos with nudity are allowed? Tregoweth 00:23, Jul 15, 2004 (UTC)

Additionally, the image is of rather poor quality, lacks a caption and, other than conveying an (appropriate?) sense of tastelessness, serves no purpose I can think of. An image should have some added value to an article; I don't think a pair of boobs jutting from the Union Jack qualifies, nudity issues aside. Removed it. --JRM 13:29, 2004 Sep 17 (UTC)
Preemptive update: Yes, I know it's the cover of a Rockbitch DVD. That still doesn't boost the relevance quite enough -- IMO. --JRM 13:32, 2004 Sep 17 (UTC)

I replaced the link to http://www.rockbitch.co.uk, which was dead with http://www.rockbitch.tv/

Obviously the beat goes on, so I created the article about MT-TV. Cspan64 18:38, 13 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The automated censor didn't allow me to write "Rockbitch" in the discography section, so please change back "Rockb*tch" to "Rockbitch" if you can, thanks. Sources by the way: An original video found on https://de.xhamster.com/videos/doku-this-is-rockbitch-fsk18-engl-sprache-2533863

Copy editing[edit]

Zgrrly (talk) 09:26, 20 March 2008 (UTC)3-20-08 Copy edit entire section for grammar and clarity. Still needs sourcing/data. :)[reply]

I copy edited this for clarity, grammar, punctuation, etc. Also, I removed this unreferenced/potentially defamatory sentence: At a 2002 Birmingham show, Johnny Goatboy of supporting band The Dangerfields caught the "golden" condom, and copulated with two band members at the side of the stage. On a different note, please remember that this page is ONLY for discussion related to the editing of this article. *momoricks* (talk) 06:44, 19 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I am working on expanding/sourcing this article. *momoricks* (talk) 09:16, 19 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Unfortunately, there really isn't much credible information online about Rockbitch. I'm going to try to watch the documenteries. In the meantime, I'm going to break up the article into more sections for clarity. *momoricks* (talk) 01:07, 21 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Can anyone explain what "British Interpol" is? Alanobrien (talk) 05:56, 3 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, made some changes, new to Wiki but have major collection of european press archive on this group to source/cite info from. Took out some errors and added detail but autobot changed me back so will wait and read more on posting before going further. Forgive errors, gettting into the swing of this. I have made a couple of amendments to clarify the changes in the band's personnel. AlanD1956 (talk) 12:54, 26 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Banned?[edit]

At least twice, this article talks of the band’s (or its performances’?) being “banned”: “[they] were banned in Scotland”, “[they] were eventually also banned [in Canada] without having played”. This is so vague as to be almost meaningless. What does “banned” mean here? What was banned? by whom? at whose instigation? for what reasons? for how long? There’s a big difference between, for example, “The legislature has enacted a law prohibiting the members of this band from entering this jurisdiction ever in the entire future of the universe, and this law is to be enforced with nuclear weapons” and “The hosts at this particular venue learned the details of the band’s proposed performance and decided that, rather than risk low revenue from locals who might not attend if the act ‘got out of hand’, they’d offer the band a choice—eliminate certain parts of the act or cancel the entire performance—, and the band chose the latter”. What really happened? Someone who knows the information and can cite appropriate, authoritative sources should add those details to the article, so that readers are not left wondering or making assumptions. — President Lethe (talk) 18:55, 18 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have inserted the words 'from venues' in the hope of clarifying this. AlanD1956 (talk) 12:54, 26 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Scottish law regarding performances were slightly different
As far as experience shows, in terms of sex workers' rights and those of anyone, including nude performers, even tenuously connected with the sex industry; it seems as if Scottish lawmen (and Glasgow City Fathers) make it up as they go along. Nuttyskin (talk) 20:42, 21 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Tony Skinner?[edit]

Based on reading Pat Mills' book "Be pure! Be Vigilant! Behave!: 2000AD & Judge Dredd: The Secret History" I think the Tony Skinner in Rockbitch is the same as the comic writer, but I can't find anything else that explicitly confirms this (Mills says that Skinner was "a witch" and "a member of a successful and rather outrageous rock band" . Is that enough to make a connection or does anyone have another source? Thematthewmurray (talk) 02:57, 22 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
