The word "poult"[edit]
The word "poult" apparently doesn't merit a separate article because there is not an article available. I may be the only person in the world who would like to know the etymology and usage of the word. I believe there may be some confusion when referring to young chickens - as opposed to turkeys - regarding the sex of the chicken. I hear folks referring to chicken poults as if they were all young hen chickens. Perhaps I need to use a good dictionary rather than Wikipedia to get a better understanding of current usage of the word. 173.3.188.72 (talk) 15:07, 17 February 2023 (UTC)
