From VfD:

  • No idea who nominated this (so I'm leaving space above), but I don't see the problem. It's a disambiguation page that doesn't link off to the first two series, which would probably be close to non-notable and end up here, and the amount of information offered on all three is fair. It could be cleaned up and Anglicized, but that's not a VfD matter. Keep
    • Odd. I signed. I was chiding the nominator for not signing. I'll sign again. Geogre 20:30, 21 Aug 2004 (UTC)
    • Weak keep. I disagree that this is a disambiguation page (who am I disagreeing with here, please?), and am removing the {{disambig}} tag from the page, because it doesn't fit the definition of a disambig page. That is to say, Under One Roof is not a page "that points to other pages that might otherwise have the same name." This is simply three stub articles that share a page. If they can be expanded out to be separate articles, then it would make sense to call this a disambig page, but for now, it's not one. Kevyn 19:29, 21 Aug 2004 (UTC)
    • Good point, Kevyn, about its not technically being a disambiguation. That was sloppy terminology on my part, except that I don't know a term for a page with tiny paragraphs that effectively act as umbrella pages. Geogre 20:41, 21 Aug 2004 (UTC)
  • Here was the version of the article when I listed it. However it's much better now. [[User:Poccil|Peter O. (Talk)]] 18:25, Aug 21, 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep. Article much improved. Kim Bruning 21:03, 21 Aug 2004 (UTC)
  • Comment: OK, I've expanded the articles somewhat, with info from other Wikipedia articles that reference the show, info from IMDb.com, and some online fan sites. I've also added stub notations to each of the entries. And, I've found that there's also a notable 1917 novel with the same name, by Mary Cholmondeley. The article is expanding to the point now that it will soon be be big enough to break out into individual articles, maybe along "Under One Roof (TV show)" and "Under One Roof (novel)" lines, with Under One Roof becomng a disambig page. • Oh, good gods. I've just discovered that there is yet ANOTHER TV show with the name Under One Roof - this one a short-lived 1995 U.S. production. I was going to ignore it as non-notable, except that it's linked from the pages of two if its stars: James Earl Jones and Merlin Santana. *sigh* OK I'll add them too. Also: There was also a 2002 movie by the same name, but I haven't found any evidence that it is notable enough to be included. Kevyn 22:58, 21 Aug 2004 (UTC)
      • Excellent work, Kevyn. It's too bad that we often do more clean up on VfD than Clean Up, but it's always a delight when we disprove the popular image and do more saving than killing. Geogre 00:06, 22 Aug 2004 (UTC)
        • Thanks. I guess VfD functions as a kind of triage for articles - it they are bad enough that they are likely to get deleted, but have value, VfD gets them worked on faster than they would on Cleanup. Go figure. Myself, I spend a lot more ime here than I do on the clean up page. Kevyn 23:21, 22 Aug 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep, current article looks fine. [[User:Dpbsmith|Dpbsmith (talk)]] 23:11, 21 Aug 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep current version. RickK 23:15, Aug 21, 2004 (UTC)
